Our Most Recent Trip

My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Kerri, Randy, and their son Mason hiking and mountain biking in the Bitterroot Mountains.  They picked us up at the lodge where we were staying, with new mountain bikes in their van, and drove us to two different trails.  Kerri was nice enough to drive to meet us, which allowed us to do a longer ride on a trail ridge as opposed to an out-and-back route.  We shared our general level of fitness and experience in advance of the trip, and Kerri and Randy planned a ride tailor-made to our preferences and experience.  This was particularly challenging, given that my husband and I have different appetites for speed and challenging terrain.  Their son Mason also came along for the mountain biking portion of the day, and indulged my husband’s desire to push the pace while Randy hung back with me.  The day Kerri and Randy planned was a perfect balance of challenging singe-track rides (which my husband loved in particular) and beautiful views on a trail ridge overlooking the Bitterroot Mountains and the valley (which I loved in particular). Kerri and Randy are incredibly warm and welcoming people, who were eager to share their knowledge of the Bitterroot Valley with us. It was a pleasure spending a day with them, and we felt so lucky to have such knowledgable and experienced guides.  We can’t recommend planning a day of biking and hiking with Kerri and Randy highly enough!
